A seasoned finance professional with over two decades of international experience, Mr. Lares brings deep expertise in private markets, investment banking, and strategic capital advisory.

Mr. Lares currently serves as Chief Investment Officer at Holt Capital, the private markets arm of the Holdun Family Office, and is the Founder of Oak Tech Capital, a Toronto-based advisory boutique focused on private market transactions. His career spans a wide range of financial disciplines including equities, private equity, venture capital, private credit, M&A, and structured finance. He has advised institutional clients across the Americas, Europe, and the GCC and previously co-led the private investment division at JB Capital in Madrid.
